promotions, nutrition education, Yoga demonstrations and health screenings are among the activities found in the health area.
Health
screenings and education are part of an outreach service to Asian and non-Asian communities, as well as the elderly and people in need. Screening is available for osteoporosis, cholesterol, hepatitis B,stroke assessment, prostate cancer screening, diabetes, allergy, vision, breathing and blood pressure.
Health
information is available, many in Asian languages, in the area of community diseases, nutrition, cancer education, as well as information on available screenings.
The
hours of the Health/Wellness Pavilion is Saturday May 24th from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday May 25th from 11:00 to 6:00 pm. Walk-ins are accepted. The Health/Wellness Pavilion has on-site Community Liaisons who are available for interpretation in the Asian dialects.

Provider-Application-Form
- Please complete if you are a health care provider or social service agency who would like to have a space in the Asian Festival 2008 Health/Wellness Pavilion. Please remember that due to space, all applications cannot be accepted, however they will be given every consideration.
Participant's-Form
- If you are an individual who is one or more of the following: low-income, lack of insurance, or no family doctor and is in need of health screenings; please complete this form. No admittance will be accepted into the screening area without this form. Forms are also available on site.
Liaison-Agreement
- If you are bi-lingual in Asian dialects, interested in your communities' health, and is interested in earning extra money. We are interested in you. We are looking for Cambodian, Chinese, East Indian, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Thai and Vietnamese liaisons. Please send Liaison Agreement to primea@gmail.com .
