Gai Koto Jin

GaiKotoJin is traditional and modern koto music performed by Jessica Entis, Julie A. Palmer, and Lori Fannin. The koto is the national instrument of Japan and is similar to a Western harp or dulcimer. The aim of our performance is to introduce our audience to Japanese koto music and to show the diversity and versatility of the koto. We will play a varied selection of traditional Japanese music, as well as modern koto compositions, and familiar Western tunes.
